About HIP

HUGS Island Professionals (HIP) is a group of local individuals, from diverse professional backgrounds, who are deeply interested in and have a passion for the mission of HUGS. HIP is an advisory committee under the HUGS Board of Directors. The primary purpose is to engage Hawaii’s top island professionals through volunteering and fundraising, working together to add joy to the lives of Hawaii’s seriously ill children and their families. The goal: to put philanthropy in action.

Opportunities of Being a HIP Squad Member

  • Meet and make new connections with local professionals

  • Learn leadership skills

  • Volunteer at a HUGS event or in a community service project

  • Help fundraise for HUGS programs

  • Have fun while making an impact on HUGS families and children
