Colunga Family
Bonny and Kyle have been married for over 18 years have have three kids. Judah was born a healthy baby, however after four months things started to change. He was diagnosed with Infantile Spasms, a seizure disorder which can be life-threatening. So he has been on various treatments since.
Despite all of the challenges, Judah continues to be an incredibly resilient, playful and bright boy. His favorite activity includes anything water-related like the ocean, Mickey Mouse, Christmas lights, Moana and stargazing.
"HUGS understands the value of support...mom's and dad's nights provide opportunities for us to connect with parents who have walked in our shoes and experienced similar emotions, isolation and hardships," said Bonny. "HUGS also acknowledges the importance of parents needing a break...Respite night not only helps Judah feel special but my other children as well. We know that we don't walk this journey alone, thanks to HUGS."
